UK Commercial Cleaning · Evidence Governance

Evidence BeforeCommitment.

CleanYield Frontier helps commercial-cleaning contractors turn specifications into evidence-bounded service commitments — connecting workloading, evidence, transferability, confidence and contract learning.

One central question: what service configuration is a contractor actually justified in promising, given the evidence available right now?

About / The Evidence Gap

The hard part is not calculating a number. It is knowing whether the evidence justifies the promise.

CleanYield Frontier is a UK-focused commercial-cleaning service-design, evidence-governance and contract-learning platform. It addresses the evidence gap between a cleaning specification, the workload and price estimate, and the actual service commitment made to a client.

The problem

Contractors need to turn a specification and budget into labour hours, a service configuration, a price and a contractual commitment. Existing workloading tools can calculate these numbers effectively — but the underlying evidence can vary considerably.

  • A figure may be based on a generic production-rate benchmark.
  • Another may be based on an observation from a real site.
  • Another may be based on calibrated historical performance.
  • Historical evidence may be reused even when the new site is materially different.

Traditional systems generally do not provide a structured way to show the strength of the evidence behind each material assumption, or to systematically test whether evidence from another site transfers to the new site. Estimating can produce a precise-looking number even when the evidence behind it is weak.

From traditional process to evidence-bounded process

Traditional

Specification → Estimate → Hours → Price → Promise

Evidence-bounded

Specification → Workload → Evidence → Transferability → Confidence → Commitment → Delivery → Reconciliation → Learning

The platform connects these stages into one continuous process. It does not simply generate another number — it makes the evidence behind the number visible and helps determine whether the proposed service commitment is supported by that evidence.

When evidence is insufficient: more evidence, not more guessing.

Layer 1

Workloading & Evidence Capture

Build a workload and cost estimate while capturing the evidence behind material assumptions.

  • Smart Workloading & Quote Builder
  • Evidence Passport
  • Evidence capture
  • BICSc/ISSA-style production-rate benchmarks
Layer 2

Confidence, Transferability & Commitment

The core differentiating layer: it evaluates evidence strength, sample depth, transferability, evidence age, context similarity and commitment supportability.

  • Evidence Confidence Score
  • Transferability Index
  • Supported / Conditional / Unsupported classification
Layer 3

Reconciliation & Learning

Once the contract is live, the platform compares the original assumptions with reality.

  • Actual labour
  • Delivery conditions
  • Quality outcomes
  • Learning feeds back into the evidence corpus

Workloading → Evidence → Transferability → Commitment → Reality → Learning

Platform

An evidence-governance layer around the numbers you already produce

CleanYield Frontier is built on a layered V5 architecture with a shared Cross-Site Evidence Corpus. It is designed to sit alongside established BICSc/ISSA-style workloading methodology and add evidence governance around it — not to replace existing cleaning-management software.

V5 Architecture

Three layers over one shared evidence corpus

Layer 1

Workloading & Evidence Capture

Produce the workload, labour and cost estimate while recording the evidence behind every material assumption.

  • Quote Builder
  • Evidence Passport
  • E0–E3 grading
  • BICSc/ISSA benchmarks
Layer 2 — core

Confidence, Transferability & Commitment

The differentiating layer: it weighs evidence strength, sample depth, transferability and evidence age, then classifies what can be promised.

  • Confidence Score
  • Transferability Index
  • Commitment Classifier
Layer 3

Reconciliation & Learning

Once live, assumptions are compared with actual delivery, and the result upgrades or downgrades the evidence behind them.

  • Actual labour
  • Delivery conditions
  • Quality outcomes
  • Corpus feedback

All three layers read from and write to the shared Cross-Site Evidence Corpus, under an evidence decay model.

Ten platform modules

01

Smart Workloading & Quote Builder

Builds task-level workload, labour, cost and pricing assumptions using task breakdowns, room/area data, frequency and BICSc/ISSA-style production rates as starting benchmarks.

02

Scenario / Fixed-Budget Planner

Explore different service configurations when budget, available hours or scope change — so trade-offs are understood rather than reduced to one undifferentiated number.

03

Contract-to-Outcome Structure

Structures the proposed service around scope, assumptions, commitments and expected outcomes, connecting what is priced with what is actually promised.

04

Evidence Passport

Records the provenance and context of material assumptions, so each important assumption is traceable to its supporting evidence on the Evidence Ladder.

05

Evidence Confidence Engine

Produces the Evidence Confidence Score (ECS): a 0–100 score combining evidence level, sample depth, transferability and evidence age.

06

Context Similarity & Transferability Engine

Tests whether evidence from another site can legitimately be applied to a new site across seven structured factors, producing a 0–100 Transferability Index.

07

Evidence-Supported Service Envelope & Commitment Classifier

Classifies the proposed commitment as Supported, Conditional, or Unsupported / Insufficient Evidence.

08

Client Trade-Off Output & Evidence Certificate

Presents service trade-offs to the client and generates a client-facing Evidence Certificate — a trust-building commercial artefact.

09

Bid-to-Mobilisation Reconciliation

Compares original assumptions with actual labour, delivery conditions and quality outcomes. Comparable tracking exists in the market; the differentiation is what the comparison then updates.

10

Scope Recalculation + Cross-Site Evidence Corpus & Decay Engine

Reconsiders calculations when scope or conditions change, and stores structured evidence from previous contracts under an evidence decay model.

Transferability Index

68/100

Seven structured factors are assessed, and material differences that may prevent evidence from transferring are identified.

Commitment Classifier

Three outcomes, stated plainly

Supported

Evidence provides sufficient support.

Conditional

The commitment can be made subject to defined conditions or assumptions.

Unsupported / Insufficient Evidence

There is not enough evidence to justify the proposed configuration.

Evidence Ladder

Evidence becomes stronger as it is observed, calibrated and validated

E0

Benchmark / Assumption

E1

Observed

E2

Calibrated

E3

Validated / Replicated

Reaching E3 strengthens the evidence position; it is not a guarantee of any particular commercial outcome.

Key innovations

The Evidence Governance Layer

Five mechanisms form the central differentiators of CleanYield Frontier.

01

Evidence Confidence Score

0–100 confidence score based on evidence level, sample depth, transferability and evidence age.

02

Context Similarity & Transferability Engine

Structured assessment of whether evidence from one site applies to another.

03

Evidence Decay Model

Reduces reliance on ageing or contextually outdated evidence.

04

Client-Facing Evidence Certificate

A clear artefact explaining the evidence supporting a proposed commitment.

05

Structured Calibration Wizard

Guides contractors through a bounded calibration process when available evidence is insufficient.

Existing market tools already provide

  • Production-rate-based bidding
  • Workloading
  • Quality inspection
  • Scheduling
  • Labour tracking
  • Quoting

Several of these functions are performed well by existing products.

CleanYield Frontier differentiates through

Evidence-strength grading + Transferability testing + Confidence scoring + Commitment classification + Contract-learning

The reviewed competitor set did not show the same combined evidence-governance layer.

How It Works

A continuous loop from specification to learning

Ten connected steps take a contract from specification to a classified, evidence-bounded commitment — and then feed what actually happened back into the evidence corpus.

01

Start with the Specification

The contractor enters the relevant contract and site requirements.

02

Build the Workload

Smart Workloading & Quote Builder converts the specification into task-level workload, labour, cost and pricing assumptions.

03

Capture the Evidence

Material assumptions receive evidence provenance and an Evidence Ladder level (E0–E3).

04

Test Transferability

Where historical or external evidence is reused, Context Similarity & Transferability evaluates whether it actually applies to the target site.

05

Calculate Confidence

Evidence Level + Sample Depth + Transferability + Evidence Age combine into the Evidence Confidence Score.

06

Classify the Commitment

The proposed service configuration is classified as Supported, Conditional or Unsupported.

07

Present the Client Trade-Off

The configuration and its supporting evidence are communicated through the client-facing output and Evidence Certificate.

08

Mobilise the Contract

The agreed configuration moves into actual service delivery.

09

Reconcile Against Reality

Original assumptions are compared against actual labour, delivery conditions and quality outcomes.

10

Learn and Improve

The resulting evidence feeds the Cross-Site Evidence Corpus, improving the evidence available for future comparable contracts.

Better EvidenceBetter Future Decisions

When evidence is insufficient, the platform makes that visible instead of presenting an unjustifiably confident number. The principle is simple: more evidence, not more guessing.

Target Market

Built for contractors who must justify what they promise

CleanYield Frontier is focused on the UK commercial-cleaning sector, with a clearly bounded primary audience and a deliberately excluded segment.

Primary audience

  • UK commercial-cleaning contractors
  • Independent and small-to-mid-size contractors
  • Competitive multi-site contracts
  • Specification-led contracts

Secondary audience

  • Larger regional building-services contractors
  • National building-services contractors
Multi-site and specification-led bidding

Outside primary scope

  • Single-visit domestic cleaning bookings
  • Cleaning marketplaces

These segments are not the target market for the platform.

Important positioning

The platform is designed to sit above established workloading methodology and existing processes, not to replace them.

Bid-versus-actual labour tracking already exists in the market; the differentiation is how reconciliation feeds evidence grading, confidence and transferability.

Where evidence is insufficient, that is made visible rather than presented as an unjustifiably confident number.

Outcomes described across this site are the business outcomes the platform is designed to support, not guarantees of savings or profitability.

Future scope

A usage-based add-on is proposed for the Cross-Site Evidence Corpus once opt-in cross-contractor benchmarking becomes available. It would be priced as a small percentage of contract value protected rather than a flat fee. This is future scope, not a currently available feature.

Business Value

What evidence governance changes commercially

These are the business outcomes the platform is designed to support. They are not guarantees of financial savings or profitability.

Fewer Under-Priced Contracts

Weakly supported configurations become visible before the price is quoted.

Stronger Proposals

The Evidence Certificate provides a concrete, evidence-based commercial narrative.

Safer Renewals & Rebids

Transferability helps contractors reuse proven evidence appropriately rather than blindly copying historical figures.

Compounding Evidence Asset

Every reconciled contract can strengthen the evidence corpus for future comparable contracts.

Reduced Disputes

An Evidence Passport creates a documented basis for discussing scope, service and price changes.

Differentiated Positioning

The combined evidence-governance architecture creates a position beyond conventional workloading.
